Special Features of Al-Mahadul Aali

  • Only students who have graduated from a renowned, trusted religious university with high marks are granted admission to AlMa’had-ul ‘Älï. A competitive exam is organized for admission and only the successful candidates get admission. The curriculum of Ma’had spans two years so it is essential for them to stay here through the period to complete the entire course.
  • Ma’had has the infrastructure to host 50 young scholars at a time: 25 for each year.
  • The institution provides students with free food and accommodation and also monthly stipends in cash.
  • In its curriculum, Ma’had emphasizes Fiqh, Principles of Fiqh, Rules of Fiqh, Objectives of Sharï’ah, and study of Fiqh Schools of Thoughts. It also inculcates deep insight into Quränic verses and Hadïths related to rulings, and provides practical training in Principles of Adjudication and Jurisconsultation. Basic education in English, Hindi and Computer is also imparted.
  • To develop a flair and aptitude for Fiqh in young scholars, Fiqh seminars are organized where students present their dissertations and after debate and discussion, they pass resolutions.
  • Ma’had also organizes lectures by scholars and discipline-experts on topics of Islämic sciences, Principles of Adjudication and Jurisconsultation, Objectives of Shari’ah, and Modern Sciences.
  • Young scholars in the second year are asked to write theses on various academic and Fiqh-related topics. In addition to successfully passing the annual exams, students are required to submit their theses to get certificate for Adjudication and Jurisconsultation.
  • Students belonging to different states and passing out from various renowned and trusted religious universities of the country get trained in Adjudication and Jurisconsultation here. As of now, young scholars from Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, UP, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Kashmir, Assam, Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Nepal have got professional training here and are at present serving admirably in the fields of teaching, training, preaching and Da’wah in various places in India and abroad.
  • This institute functions under the supervision of Imärate Shara’iah but as it has its own independent budget, its finances and accounts are separate from that of the Baitul Mäl of Imärate Shara’iah. A separate registered body, AlMa’had Trust administers the institute. All the expenses are met through contributions from people of piety and wealth.
